The Prosecutors' Pledge

The Attorney General has introduced 'The Prosecutors' Pledge' setting out the level of service that victims of crime can expect from prosecutors. The Attorney is keen that the principles set out in the pledge to apply to all prosecutors and RCPO has adapted the pledge to apply to cases prosecuted by it.

At an event in London to mark its first anniversary, RCPO’s Director David Green QC said: "RCPO is approaching its 1st birthday. Inevitably, setting up a new organisation from scratch has been challenging but stimulating and not without the odd irritation for all of us. They were formerly reported as Customs & Excise Prosecutions Office (CEPO).
